 I learned something new (to me) about cultural Marxism yesterday.  It seems that there is a definite attempt to dance around a plain statement of what it is by its' advocates.  Rather they simply push for the application of it in terms of legal policies.  But what is modern day Marxism exactly?  The problem is that when we find out, nobody will have any respect for it.   First, under critical theory, a person who has privileges in society will have unconscious biases.  This is obviously true.  We've all been wrong about things which we previously thought we were correct on.  And it's easy to see how your situation and even social privileges can cloud your perspective.  It's easy to see that you shouldn't judge another person until you've walked a mile in their shoes.  But that bat swings both ways.  Someone from a less privileged position can have an unconscious bias too.  They could think that society is against their gr...

 Confusing things about the "woke" left. It's strange to many how the left thinks today.  The TV show South Park captured this well.  A school principal called "PC principal" is urinating in the bathroom.  Cartman, a manipulative boy, comes in carrying another little boy's underwear.  He then places said underwear in the urinal so that the principal's dna is now on it.  He begins to threaten the principal.  He says he will frame him as a pedophile unless the principal is less strict.  The principal is just confused the entire time.  So Cartman has to explain it again.  When he does, he uses the word "capisce."  The principal is immediately angry because this Italian word assumes that Italians are greedy extortionists.  Oblivious to the claim of pedophilia, he brutally beats Cartman, a small boy.  Thus, he ends up abusing a minor anyway as a response to what he calls a "microaggression." Short Blog: Should women get rich from divorce?     So I just saw that Jeff Bezos' wife now has $36 Billion dollars mostly via divorcing the wealthiest man in the world.  As I gather it, he just wanted to date their neighbor and was okay with the split.  He had no issue cheating, etc.  Honestly she will just continue to invest and the wealth will grow.  Seems like a huge ego boost for the neighbor.  This guy gave up a lot of money to date you.  But Jesus would remind us that it wasn't that much for Bezos.  He still has 60B and will his life really be affected.  Jesus said the widow who put in two small coins gave more than everyone else. I've been working for a while now on the question of Science and Christianity.  I've learned some very interesting key points that I'd like to share. 1)Christianity and ancient Greece created Science The first key step was taken in Greece by the creation of theoretical science.  The Greeks were the first to formulate general explanations of how the world works (theories).  The second key step was taken by Christian monks in Medieval Universities.  They tested theories with observations, which the Greeks had all rejected. 2)The Chinese rejected the possibility of Science for religious and atheistic reasons All of the religions of the intellectual elite of China were explicitly atheistic.  They taught some sort of impersonal essence behind everything.  Of course the common people remained polytheists and still are today.  But they rejected science because they believed the universe cannot be comprehended by rational intellect.  They proposed ...

I wanted to write a short article on the question of tearing down statues.  I do not think it is a very important question compared to others.  But it is an amazingly easy question to answer.  And people get it so incredibly wrong that I may as well say something. 1)Historical monuments are to remember something important that happened. 2)You will find that most important figures of history have also done bad things. 3)Usually those bad things were normal in their day. A classic controversy is whether Christmas, Easter, and Halloween are acceptable for Christians to celebrate.  It is alleged that since these holidays are pagan in origin, then they are not Christian.  This reasoning is stupendously flawed. Christians have a habit of taking things and giving them new meanings.  The earliest Christian depictions of the Jesus are 1)A fish 2)A swan 3)Jonah and the Whale The earliest depictions of Jesus are modeled after art of Apollo.  Later they are modeled after Zeus.  These are pagan gods.  But the Christians gave their own touch.  They had an almost obsession with slipping in coded messages that only the learned would notice.
